I wanted to make a cuff bracelet that would have both a safety chain to make sure the bracelet would not fall off and get lost while worn, as well as having a counterweight to help keep the decorative stone on top of the wrist where it's supposed to be. The result is this cuff that includes a solid, thick safety chain with a beautiful counterweight that I made using a 1940's British coin. It is as alluring and interesting as it is practical and wearable.
